A mini grid, also sometimes referred to as a “Micro Grid or Isolated Grid or Nano Grid”, is a power plant that produces, stores and supplies solar electricity to a specific locality to satisfy its regular need. This solution is especially suitable for locality where BPDB distributors do not have a distribution line.

Solar Irrigation Solution

A solar-powered pump is a pump running on electricity generated by photovoltaic panels or the radiated thermal energy available from collected sunlight as opposed to grid electricity or diesel run water pumps. NETZERO offers irrigation solutions that can support ample land area using required number of pumps.

Energy Storage System (ESS)

Excess PV energy is stored in batteries. When PV power is insufficient or no PV power is generated at night, batteries discharge to supply power to the loads, improving the self- consumption rate of the PV system and the self-sufficiency rate of residential energy, and reducing electricity costs.


Solar Home System (SHS)

Solar home systems (SHS) are stand-alone photovoltaic systems that offer a cost-effective mode of supplying amenity power for lighting and appliances to remote off-grid households. In rural areas, that are not connected to the grid, SHS can be used to meet a household’s energy demand fulfilling basic electric needs. Globally SHS provides power to hundreds of thousands of households in remote locations where electrification by the grid is not feasible. SHS usually operate at a rated voltage of 12 V direct current (DC) and provide power for low power DC appliances such as lights, radios, and small TVs for about three to five hours a day. Furthermore, they use appliances such as cables, switches, mounts, and structural parts and power conditioners / inverters, which change 12/ 24 V power to 240VAC power for larger appliances. SHS are best used with efficient appliances to limit the size of the array.

Solar Power Plant

A solar power plant produces electricity utilizing the sunlight and provides it to the users in a regular quality that a utility company or generator provides. NETZERO offers solar power plants for industries and commercial companies utilizing their unutilized roofs or lands. We have the following types of Solar Power Plants.

On-Grid Solar Power Plant: A solar power plant that produces electricity from sunlight in daytime and is synchronized with the grid electricity, diesel generator or gas The priority of electricity feed is set according to client’s need.

Flexible Storage Solar Power Plant: This solar power plant produces electricity from sunlight in daytime, synchronizes with the existing power system and stores clean electricity to use in emergency or regular situation. The priority of electricity feed is set according to client’s need.

Off-Grid Solar Power Plant: This solar power plant can directly feed the solar power and store for regular use. This plant is suitable for industries who do not have electricity from BPDB or its distributors and capable to run in a hybrid mode synchronizing with diesel or gas generator.
